Air Jordan Fusion 12 (XII) - A Fusion of Air Jordan XII and Air Force 1
The Air Jordan Fusion line involves the fusion of certain
Retro Air Jordan sneakers with the very popular
Nike Air Force 1's. The Air Jordan Fusion 12 (XII) represents the fusion of the
retro Air Jordan XII (12) with the classic midtop Nike Air Force 1 (ones). The AJF 12 was the first installment to the Air Jordan Force Fusion collection.
AJF 12 Design
The basic shape of the Air Jordan Fusion 12 is that of the standard Nike Air Force 1 (ones) mid. The front quarter is the same type of material found on the classic Air Jordan 12 (XII) front quarter, styled in the same shape as the front quarter of the Nike Air Force 1 (ones). The upper is leather with the Japanese
rising sun style of stitching, which was borrowed from the Air Jordan 12. The tongue features the Jumpman logo and the stitched
TWO3, both inspired by the tongue of the Air Jordan XII (12). On the inside of the tongue, the words
Best of Both Worlds is embroidered. The traditional Nike Air Force 1 (Ones) mids strap is intact on the Air Jordan Fusion XII (12). The heel is styled after the Air Jordan XII (12) with a finger loop. The Air Jordan Fusion 12 (XII)'s sole is inspired by the Nike Air Force 1 (ones).
Another Great Innovation by the Jordan Brand
Originally, Air Jordan fans were worried that the Air Jordan Fusions would be just a gimmick used by the Jordan Brand to sell more shoes without creating anything new. However, when the shoe was released, it ended up selling just as well as previous Air Jordan releases. Since the release of the Air Jordan Fusion 12, many other Air Jordan fusion sneakers have been released.
