Bentley InspirationThe Air Jordan XXI was inspired once again by a car. This time, the inspiration came from the Bentley Continental GT coupe. In fact, the front of the Air Jordan XX1 is made to look like the grill of the Bentley Continental GT coupe.
D’Wayne Edwards’ First Air JordanJordan Brand turned to D’Wayne Edwards for the design of the Air Jordan XXI. The XX1 featured lower-foot air grilles, double-overlasted Phylon midsole, a carbon fiber shank plate and a seamless diamond-quilted booty. It also has an evolutionary tunable I.P.S. suspension system that lets the wearer choose between Zoom and Encapsulated air.
Michael Jordan’s WordsMichael had the following statement to make with regards to the Air Jordan XXI: “With last year’s Air Jordan XX, we looked back and celebrated the past twenty years. Another Nice PackagingThe packaging for the Air Jordan XX1 was separated into two compartments. There was a compartment for each shoe as well as a bag to could hold the air pods. The Air Jordan XXI released in four different colorways ($175.00), and two Lows.
